The micro lubrication device not only needs to generate micrometer sized oil mist particles, but also needs to send these micrometer sized oil mist particles to the cutting friction area. Therefore, the higher the air source pressure, the higher the reliability of transportation. The reason is that the machine tool needs to use drill bits of different diameters for processing, and the size of the internal cooling hole of the internal cooling drill varies with the diameter of the drill bit. The smaller the diameter of the internal cooling hole, the greater the resistance to oil mist output. At this time, reliable air source pressure is the only guarantee for transporting oil mist.

Therefore, in the use of micro lubrication, it is necessary to ensure the reliability of the original pressure and ensure that there is no leakage in each link of the transported oil mist. When there is a leakage, it will not only cause a decrease in the gas source pressure, which is not conducive to the transportation of oil mist, but also leak a large amount of oil mist at the leakage point. In this case, it is possible that the drill bit may experience a linear increase in cutting heat due to insufficient lubrication. Subsequently, there are phenomena such as blade breakage, drilling breakage, and heating caused by insufficient lubrication.
The gas source pressure required for a general micro lubrication system is around 5-8 bar, but not all enterprises can fully meet this pressure requirement. Therefore, we propose a solution to solve the problem of low gas source pressure, which is to use a booster device. The pressure boosting device can effectively increase the pressure of the gas source, ensuring the micrometer level atomization and reliable transportation of oil mist. For internal cooling micro lubrication, the maximum pressure of the gas source should not exceed 10 bar, which can economically solve the problems caused by insufficient pressure and avoid energy waste caused by excessive gas source pressure.
